Sr. Business Intelligence Consultant

What you will do:Participate in planning and estimating sessions with clientsAnalyze business requirements and design solutions and recommendations based on established best practices for business intelligence / analyticsDesign and develop Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and subject specific Data MartsDevelop and validate reports and dashboardsTroubleshoot query performance in SQL, DAX, MApply machine learning / data mining practices to enable richer insightsDrive strategies and adoption of business intelligence with our clientsKeep up to date on the latest technologies and analytical frameworksPrepare training materials and provide user trainingPresent at seminars / conferencesManage project tasks, status updates, issues, and timelinesWhat you will bring:Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Management or related field3-5 years of experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) architectures and toolsetsExperience developing ETL routines and database procedures / functionsExperience integrating data from a variety of sources (i.e., flat files, APIs, databases, XML)Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 – 2017 and the corresponding BI capabilities (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Machine Learning Services)Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Jet, TARGIT, D3 or other reporting / dashboarding toolsExperience with Dimensional Modeling (i.e., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)Preferred experience with R and/or Python for machine learning and data miningPreferred experience developing reports / dashboards against Microsoft AX / D365Preferred experience with analytical / data management capabilities in Azure, AWS, or GCPProven track record of providing documentation, training, and supportAbility to work independently with clients and drive prioritiesAbility to travel up to 40% to client locationsAttention to detail and strong sense of ownershipExcellent communication skills both verbal and written
